Hi!
Not only am I posting, but I'm posting a juggling related topic. Fancy that!

I teach a 10 year old girl who has just gotten the three ball cascade. She still front throws a lot, of course, but she's got it. It took forever. She mostly uses my standard size squosh balls because I can't afford any quality smaller sized balls. Now her parents are going to get her a set for Xmas and have asked what size. Do you think she should get standard size because...

just saw it last night in Philly (filming for the news opens gets me into so many great places for free). It was a pretty great show. Heavier on the dancing and singing, and a little lighter on the classic acts (no juggler!), but they had a solid complement of Chinese acrobats and trapeze, some good stilt walkers doing high pegs, and some memorable audience participation (I'm still not convinced the one couple weren't plants). The pictures are sucky, but you get a great old house in a quiet neighborhood that is literally 10 minutes away from Times Square. I know both of your neighbors and they are great people.

How do you practice juggling torches without attracting the police? Apparently it's illegal. I tried calling my local precinct and they were totally unhelpful. In the suburbs it would be easy, many fewer eyes, and you tend to know people better.

Maybe you just do it and see what happens. Any ideas? Is there a fire-permit process?

Here's the poop:

There's a promotional stunt TOMORROW in Union Square on Tuesday, November 3rd from 10AM-2PM. (call time is a little longer on both ends.) It's a flash mob performance that will be videotaped for the launch of OfficeMax's new "Elf Yourself" for Christmas. They are looking to hire 8-10 jugglers to be in attendance dressed as elves (costumes to be provided).
