Please include all relevant details: event description, location, date and time, and contact info. Be sure to include the date of the event in the subject line of your post.

To better your chances of getting a response to your request we recommend offering one or more of the following: include the performer's name/contact info on marketing materials, provide copies of any photos or video documentation for the performer to use for future promotional purposes, food and drink, and/or a stipend to cover travel costs and parking, et al. The more you can offer, the better your chances of getting someone to volunteer their time.

If you are a not-for-profit organization, consider having a donor or business sponsor the entertainment. They can use their donation as a tax write-off, and the performers will be compensated for their valuable time and energy. Performing, even at fun, worthwhile events, is in fact hard work.
