Mr. and Mrs. Russell Davis came to juggling! Russell has a show opening at the Signature (as Paris posted), so they're in town more. They came early,
expecting at least to see Slammin, but I told them he was out with a hamstring injury. Married life seems to agree with them; they were both radiant.
My juggling sucks, and I didn't get enough of it. Matt and I passed then we passed a little with Paul. We tried one pattern neither of them could get, and they both blamed me for throwing too fast, and maybe I do, but when it was my turn I got the pattern so I felt a little better.
We all thought we could stay till 9:45 since summer is over, but the guard rather sarcastically told us out by 9:30, doors locking behind us at 9:45. He acted like that had always been the way.
At Chinese, Robin announced that he'd voted for McCain, and Marcus called him retarded. Then Paul asked him a bunch of questions because Paul is always curious about other people, but Robin felt so bullied by then that he couldn't even answer. Plus Paul gets pretty intense. Viviana got a green card. Oh! And Jack came out to eat with us for the first time ever! I had a revelation about Jack the other night at Galapagos watching him watch that topless musical act: Jack likes crazy. Yup, he was so open and enjoying it while Stacey was cringing next to him. Slammin' likes crazy too but only from a distance. Jack really wanted to engage. It was a joy to see.
