Here's what's happening here: Today was a banner day. Productive morning of guerrilla tech--running on stage any time there was a gap--afternoon of practice with a Cuban juggler who snuck in with a teeterboard troupe he's not normally in but his friends are. He wanted to go to China. They gave him one trick in the show. Kind of like me and Matt.
My highlight was his reaction to seeing me pass after watching me try to juggle solo. They don't really do any left-right stuff either, so Matt and I showed him six- and seven-club three- and one-counts, none of which Matt and I had ever done together and all of which went well enough to impress Deikel.
Oh! And the Quebecoise guy gave me a ride in his roue Cyr! It was terrifying (for Matt especially I think as it certainly looked like I was not going to survive to juggle). I was really bad at it, but we got enough of a go that I got a tiny sense of what it must be like.
Then tonight our "Aritist" badges got us free access to a local tent show where it was raining inside the tent, and the lyger flipped out during its act.
Hope you're all well there.
